Plans & Access
How the Social Scheduler is billed, who can turn it on, and what each role is allowed to do inside it.
The Social Scheduler is an add-on
Scheduling is not part of a plan. It attaches to whichever plan you already have, and it is billed as its own line. That includes the free plan: Solo Founder, Clinic Financials, and Founder Lifetime can all run the scheduler.
Because it is a separate line, removing it leaves your plan and your financial data exactly as they were.
What it costs
| Billing | Price |
|---|---|
| Yearly | $9.99 per month per scheduling location, charged as $119.88 a year |
| Monthly | $12.99 per month per scheduling location |
That one price covers unlimited channels, unlimited scheduled and published posts, and unlimited team members. Connecting a sixth channel costs the same as connecting the first.
Scheduling locations are counted separately from the locations on your plan. You only pay for the locations you actually post from. Ten locations with scheduling on one of them is a normal setup. You can cover between 1 and 20 locations.
Turning it on
Owners and admins can add the scheduler. Other roles cannot change billing.
You can start from either place:
- Settings → Billing → Add-ons, which is also where you change the location count later.
- Schedule in the sidebar. If your role allows the scheduler but the add-on is not active yet, that page shows the offer instead of the calendar, so an owner can turn it on without hunting for it.
Which billing interval you get
Stripe allows one interval per subscription, so this is not always a free choice:
- If you already pay for a plan, the add-on joins that subscription at the interval you already pay on, prorated, and lands on the same invoice. You do not pick monthly or yearly, because it inherits.
- If you are on Solo Founder or Founder Lifetime, there is no plan subscription to join, so the add-on is billed on its own and you choose monthly or yearly at checkout.
Changing how many locations it covers
Go to Settings → Billing → Add-ons and adjust the count. The change applies to your existing subscription and is prorated, so you are not charged twice for the same period.
Turning it off
Remove it from Settings → Billing → Add-ons. What happens next depends on how it is billed:
- Billed on its own subscription (free and lifetime plans): it stays available through the end of the period you already paid for, then stops.
- Billed as a line on your plan subscription: the line comes off right away, with a proration on your next invoice.
Your plan, your locations, and all of your financial data are untouched either way. Posts already published stay published.
If payment lapses, the scheduler switches off. Stripe statuses like past due, unpaid, or canceled revoke access rather than leaving it running unpaid. Fixing the card restores it.
What each role can do
Access is two gates: your role has to allow it, and the add-on has to be paid for. Buying the add-on does not widen anyone's role, and having the right role does not get you in before the add-on is active.
| Role | Draft and submit | Approve | Schedule and publish | Connect channels | Delete posts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Admin | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Manager | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Provider | Yes | No | No | No | No |
| Front Desk | Yes | No | No | No | No |
| Viewer | No | No | No | No | No |
Providers and front desk staff draft and submit for approval. Owners, admins, and managers approve, request changes, schedule, and publish. Viewers can see the calendar but cannot touch it.
This is the same role you already assigned in Settings → Users. There is no separate scheduler permission to configure.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid plan to use the scheduler? No. Solo Founder is free and takes a minute to set up, and the scheduler attaches to it. If scheduling is all you want, that is the cheapest route in.
Does the scheduler count against my plan's location slots? No. The two counts are independent. Adding scheduling to three locations does not change how many locations your plan allows.
Can I cancel scheduling without touching my plan? Yes. It is a separate line item. Removing it leaves your subscription, your locations, and your financial data alone.
Why does the Schedule page show a price instead of my calendar? Your role allows the scheduler but the add-on is not active on this workspace yet. If you are an owner or admin you can turn it on from that screen. Otherwise, ask whoever handles billing.
Is there a post limit? No. Nothing caps how many posts you schedule or publish, and there is no per-channel quota to refill.
