What is included at no charge, what Nabu Intelligence unlocks, when an Action Center plan is activated, and who can see or approve the work.
Two separate complimentary allowances
Nabu offers complimentary use in both parts of Nabu Intelligence. The allowances are separate.

Your complimentary Action Center plan
Every location can activate one Action Center plan each calendar month at no charge.
You can open the Action Center, read every available finding, compare every recommended plan, inspect client lists and messages, choose an employee, and save a draft without using the activation.
After the complimentary plan has been used, those review steps remain available for every supported finding. The upgrade message appears only when an approver tries to activate another plan and create its assigned work in Task Center. This keeps the free limit on execution, not on understanding what Nabu recommends.
One plan can create several Task Center items. A client follow-up plan, for example, can create one task per eligible client and still counts as one plan activation.
Once activated, the plan remains fully usable. The team can complete its tasks and see the measured result even if the calendar changes or the location does not have Nabu Intelligence. Completing the plan does not return the monthly activation.
The status near the Action Center title shows whether the location's plan is available, active, or already used, along with the reset date.
Complimentary Ask Nabu answers
Every organization receives ten analytical Ask Nabu answers each calendar month. This allowance is shared across its people and locations.
An answer is used only when Nabu delivers an answer about the business. One question uses one answer even when Nabu needs several checked calculations to complete it.
These do not use an answer:
- a question about how to use Nabu;
- a clarifying question from Nabu;
- a refusal because the records do not cover the request;
- a request Nabu does not support yet;
- a turn that did not finish.
When the ten answers are used, product help continues to work. Analytical questions become available again when the allowance resets or Nabu Intelligence is active.
What Nabu Intelligence unlocks
Nabu Intelligence is added per location. For an included location, it provides:
- unlimited Action Center plan activations;
- unlimited analytical Ask Nabu questions;
- the same approval, Task Center, and result workflow used by complimentary plans.
The current price is shown in Nabu before purchase. Turn it on from the upgrade message in Ask Nabu or the Action Center, or from Settings > Billing > Add-ons.
Access still follows each person's role
An allowance or paid add-on never gives someone access to clinic information their role does not permit.

Common questions
Does looking at a finding use the free plan?
No. Reading findings, comparing plans, reviewing client lists and messages, choosing an employee, and saving a draft do not use the free plan.
When is the free plan used?
Only when an approver activates the plan and Nabu successfully creates its assigned Task Center work. Opening, selecting, assigning, editing, or saving a plan does not use it.
Does one task count as one plan?
No. One approved plan may create one task or many tasks.
Is the free plan shared across the organization?
No. Each location receives its own monthly Action Center plan. Ask Nabu's ten complimentary answers are shared across the organization.
What happens to an active free plan after the month resets?
It stays active until the work and result are complete. The new month gives the location another activation.
Does Nabu Intelligence let someone see every location?
No. Location and role permissions still apply.
