Getting Help

How to reach Nabu support, what to include in a ticket, and what to expect.

If you are logged in to Nabu

Click Help in the left sidebar. This opens the support ticket interface directly inside your dashboard.

Tickets submitted from inside the dashboard automatically attach your workspace name, location, and the page you were on when you opened the ticket. This context helps our team understand your situation faster and respond more accurately — you don't need to describe which plan you're on or which location is affected.

Once you submit a ticket, you'll receive email replies when we respond. You can also view your ticket history and ongoing conversations from the Help section.

Response times:

  • Free plan: within 48 hours
  • Paid plans: same-day response

If you are not yet a Nabu customer

Visit the Request Demo page to schedule a personalized walkthrough. A member of our team will walk you through how Nabu works for your specific type of practice.

For pre-sales questions, you can also reach us at hello@joinnabu.com.

What makes a good support ticket

A clear ticket gets a faster, more useful response. Before submitting, include:

  1. What you were trying to do — for example, "I was trying to import a CSV of services into the Setup section"
  2. What happened instead — for example, "All rows showed a column header mismatch error"
  3. Which section or page you were on — for example, "Setup → Services → Import"
  4. A screenshot if possible — especially useful for validation errors, display issues, or anything where seeing the screen helps

The more specific you are, the less back-and-forth is needed to resolve the issue.

What you don't need support for

A lot of common questions are answered in this documentation. Before opening a ticket, check:

  • Setup walkthroughs — step-by-step instructions for every setup section are in the Setup Guide
  • CSV formatting rules — column requirements, date formats, and amount formats are in CSV Templates
  • CSV error messages — specific error explanations and fixes are in Common Import Issues
  • Field definitions — what each field means and how it's calculated is covered in the relevant dashboard page

If you've read the relevant docs page and the issue isn't resolved, that's exactly when a support ticket is the right move.
